Meet the Principal

Sara has been a proud District 220 educator since 2003. Having dedicated the majority of her career to Student Services, she developed a deep expertise in supporting students with complex academic and social-emotional needs in full-instructional settings. In 2023, she formally transitioned into leadership as the Assistant Principal of North Barrington, where she has worked to bridge the gap between specialized support and school-wide excellence.  Sara is a visionary, student-centered leader and a relentless advocate for equitable instruction. 

Sara holds a master's in educational leadership from National-Louis University and a bachelor of arts in Special Education from Illinois State University.
