Activities 

Many organized activities are available for students at North Barrington Elementary School. Sponsored groups and activities include:

• 5th Grade Mentors
• Band
• Choir Club
• Horticulture/Green/Eco Club
• Kindergarten Mentors
• North Barrington Running Club
• Orchestra
• Running Club
• Speech Tournament
• STEM Club 
• Student Council
   

Groups open to NBS students, but not sponsored by North Barrington Elementary include Boy Scouts, the Chess Without Borders Chess Club, Girl Scouts, and the Barrington Park District. Please contact these organizations directly for information such as cost, registration, meeting times, and location.

Athletics 

All North Barrington Elementary School fifth graders have an opportunity to participate in the following Barrington 220 intramural sports:

• Cross Country
• Girls Basketball
• Track and Field
